Here’s the link https://www.no-tilltexas.com/ to the
No-Till Texas Soil Health Symposium to be held in Lubbock at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center next Tuesday-Wednesday, February 11th and 12th, 2020.
This highly recommended symposium is
a great opportunity to find out more about No-Till topics such as: Fundamentals of Implementing a Soil Health System,
Growing Cotton and Multi-Species Covers in a No-Till System, and Benefits &
Guidelines for Integrating Livestock into Cropping Systems.
Attendees will hear from area
Farmers such as Patrick Middlebrook, a 5th generation farmer in Shallowater,
Barry Evans, a Farmer in Kress, TX and Kelly Kettner, a No-Till Farmer in
Muleshoe as well as experts like Dr. Tim Steffens, of WTAMU whose current
research includes using targeted grazing management and developing integrated
livestock-rangeland-cropping systems to improve soil quality, and Willie
Durham, Regional Soil Health Specialist with the USDA Natural Resources
Conservation Service.
Hope all those interested can attend.
